With me to introduce their good read are the politician turned writer and broadcaster, Edwina Curry,

health minister under Margaret Thatcher, author of six novels and two sets of parliamentary diaries,

and a frequent presence on radio and television.

With Edwina, another bastion of airwave screen and stage, the actor Nicholas Leprevo,

an Olivier Award nominee for his Colonel Pickering in Trevor Nuns, My Fair Lady.

His TV works encompassed everything from the jewel in the crown to midsummer murders,

and he's most recently been heard on Radio 4 as the indolent Sam in HR.
