Okay, so there was a big election on Tuesday and we're recording this bright and early Wednesday morning.

but this one, I think it's fair to say,

was pretty exciting and just to break the fourth wall.

We'd planned on talking about something else this

week but it was so interesting that we pivoted pivot pivot pivot and I think

there'll be a lot of talk about pivoting in this episode you know these were

local and statewide votes but a lot of them hold national

significance on some really big issues, especially for the Democrats, who have been pretty

glum lately because of the polls that we've been seeing. So before we dive in like let's just quickly each
