Did you know that God's attitude toward his followers is never conditioned by behavior?

Let's continue the Ways of God series with a

reminder that our Heavenly Father was, is, and always will be a God of love.

God has many attributes that characterize him. For example, he's a God of justice, mercy, holiness,

righteousness, omnipotence, omniscience, omnipresence, wisdom, he is eternal,

and we can just go on and on and on of these awesome characteristics of God.

And the truth is, when you begin to understand what he's like, who he is,

and the fact that he loves us just the way we are,

something will begin to happen in our life.

Because you see that's who he is.

He's a God of love.

All true genuine love originates from him.

And the one thing the heart of man needs to understand is that God who created us

loves us and since he doesn't change, his love doesn't change.

So I want you to look at these couple of verses here

in 1, John, chapter 4.

He says in verse 7,

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and everyone who loves is born

of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love. By this the love of God was manifest,

that reveal in us, that is that God has sent His only begotten son into the world

so that we may live through Him because of his death at Calvary.
