Story Guys. Welcome to the Ghost Story, guys. I'm Renastore. I'm Paul Bestall, and this is the

show where we talk about Spooks, Spectaries, and all the other things watching us from the shadows

beyond the campfire. Some conversations only make sense after the sun is set, and this is most

definitely one. Thanks for tuning in. This is episode number 152, and we're coming to you from that

tiny mountain cabin you dream about, but can never quite reach. Paul, my friend, it's only been a

week since we've spoken. How you doing, man? I'm all right. I'm all right. It's been a strange week.

I feel like I'm channeling the spirit of Art Bell, because not only I heard a strange bug,

but I bent over to change some cat litter earlier and pulled my back. So I'm suffering for my

middle age, I think. I, you know, funny to say that, because I woke up this morning in my lower

back hurt too. So I've reached that point. I guess it gets us all in the end. Yes. I'm used to

making comedy injuries. I've made it to specialty over the years. At school, I once trapped my finger

in a door frame that opened, and it closed on it, and my finger split. And I went really funny,

and decided to pass out unconscious and faceplant the desk, and then the chair, and then the floor,

and broke my note. And because it was the eighties, they cleaned me up and said, you'll be all right,

son. And I wasn't sent home. Yep. No, that's, that was the eighties. It was a different time.

As we're going to be talking about later on the show, it was a less, a less structured time when

I came to childcare. Yeah. I mean, you are talking to a man that still got glass, and he said,

from a game of stoned cowboys and Indians with capgums 30 years ago. So comedy accidents are

something I like to think is a forte of mine. I remember that story. That's where you jumped up

into the light bulb. The unbreakable light bulb. Clearly not. No, they're not. Oh boy, well, all right.

As I mentioned, later on, we're going to be telling some stories of dubious parenting.
