Summary

In Luke 20, Jesus gives us a glimpse of what Heaven will be like—not in appearance, but in experience. He tells us two things: (a) there will be no marriage; relationships will be different, and (b) there will be no death; we will be like the angels in Heaven. Heaven is the eternal home for those who know Jesus as Lord and Savior. Are you ready? Do you know for certain that you will go to Heaven when you die? You can be! Listen today as Pastor Gary teaches about what Heaven will be like and how to be sure that you will go there when you die.

Last of all, the woman died also. Therefore, here's their question, in the resurrection,

And Jesus answered and said to them, the sons of this age, Mary, and are given in marriage,

but those who are counted worthy to attain that age, in other words, the age to come,

any more for they are equal to the angels and are sons of God being sons of the resurrection.

1:18.2

But even Moses showed in the burning bush passage that the dead are raised when he called

1:23.6

the Lord the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob. For he is not the God

1:29.7

of the dead, but of the living, for all live to him. And then some of the scribes answered and said,

1:36.1

Teacher, you have spoken well. But after that, they dared not question him anymore. Like, you know,

1:42.1

you can't outsmart God, right? Like, Jesus is God in flesh. And it's also

1:46.6

kind of odd that they're like commending God. Like, good job, God. You know, all right. Well,

1:51.9

this story happens during the last week of Jesus' life. As we mentioned last Sunday in our Bible study,

1:57.6

the last several chapters of the book of Luke capture the final week of Jesus' life

leading up to and including his crucifixion and then subsequently his resurrection.
