Hamdallah, I want to welcome everyone back for the program during the last 10 nights of the month of Ramadan

where we gather every night for some moments of remembrance and

reflection. And this year, we've been covering the theme of the afterlife, taking a look

at some of the glimpses into the afterlife that Allah, God, provides for us in the Quran,

in the book of Allah, and then reflecting upon that.

Tonight, we're going to reflect on a theme

that is mentioned in the Quran. It's mentioned by Allah, by Allah, suhanna, in the Quran.

It's something the Prophet, sallu, a alibi-a-u-salam,

elaborated upon as well. It's a very Prophet, sallu a ala'u'lla'u'slam elaborated upon as well.

It's a very important central theme.

It is one that is a little bit more heavy, but we'll go through the process, we'll go through the reflections, and,

inshallah, will arrive at a place where we understand that,

even though it's a bit heavy,

but it is one that ultimately provides a lot of hope and opportunity,

and it provides openings.

And that theme can be summarized in one word, and that is regret.

Regret, rem regret, remorse, and Allah's about it, amongst the places where Allah speaks about it is actually in

Surt al-Mulq.
