| 0:38.9 | we see the activity given. So turn with me to Genesis chapter four. One of the things I love about |
| 0:45.5 | the Word of God is that there are some things we're just not ever going to figure out. It's just |
| 0:51.9 | too bad today that we can't finish the lesson, get in small groups, |
| 0:56.1 | and really just talk this thing through. Because if you have studied these passages at any time |
| 1:02.4 | in your believing life, they've caused you to wonder, to ask some pretty deep questions, |

| 1:12.6 | ever going to see it so i want to begin by giving you just a little captive kind of presentation |
| 1:19.5 | of the evolution of the priesthood and then we're going to start in our scriptures today if we are |

| 1:29.1 | glimpse we get of the priesthood is in Genesis chapter 4, and I'm ready to do that. I'm |
| 1:33.6 | convinced at this point. Then what you're going to see, I've got you a series of blanks there |
| 1:37.3 | and arrows pointing down to the next portion and the next portion in the evolution of priests |
| 1:42.5 | and the priesthood. It begins with individuals. So that |
| 1:45.8 | top blank is going to be individuals. Priesthood began by individuals, as the Lexcalades said, |
| 1:52.2 | and then Walt Key said. It began with individuals with Canaan Abel specifically, individually on their |
| 1:58.1 | own, bringing an offering to God. |
