John Logston has joined us several times.

He founded and directed the George Washington University

Space Policy Institute and is the author of John F. Kennedy and the Race to the Moon, as well

as After Apollo, Richard Nixon, and the American Space Program.

John, it's just by coincidence that you happen to be here for a planetary society board meeting,

and it was only minutes ago that we learned that a real American hero, John Glenn, has passed away.

Would you describe him that way?
