I think it's probably a good thing that

the eagles have a short week get back on the horse uh after the way that game ended on on sunday so

it's an opponent that you're kind of happy to see pop up on the on the schedule i mean you look at

their first five opponents i guess the only one with a losing record right now is the chiefs

which i did not have on my bingo card when the season began. There's still a good team. So there really haven't been any, you know, any, I don't want to say walkovers because the Giants have some some talent, especially on the defensive side. But it's a game, I mean, they're one and four. And it's a game that should help the Eagles kind of get back where they need to be, you would think. You would think you would hope it better based on what we've seen the first month of the season. This is the Eagle Eye podcast, by the way, brought to you by Nissan. He's Urban Frank. Yeah, leading up to this Thursday night football game.

So we're going to try to cover a lot of ground.

But when I last spoke to you, Rube, our heads were spinning a little bit after that game.

A lot had transpired.

There were a lot of good plays, bad plays, penalties, things that probably

took a while to settle in. I got a chance to rewatch the game. But from your perspective,

anything that you see a little clearer now that maybe you didn't when we recorded that

podcast on Sunday. Yeah, just the emphasis on the penalties in the fourth quarter. There are five of them. They're all damaging. Without those penalties, they win the game. There's no question about it. Some were questionable. Some weren't. And there were some no calls that could have gone either way. But you're not going to win close games. You're going to commit five penalties for like 50 yards. And it wasn't even the yard. It was mainly the first downs, getting fresh set of downs. You're not going to win a lot of close games when you're that undisciplined and mistake prone in a fourth quarter of a game. It's just, and look, they're all different. It makes it tough because they're all different kind of penalties. And, you know, it's not like you can just automatically fix penalties. It's a tough thing. And they've committed a lot this year. So, but that's the one thing that stood out. I rewatched the fourth quarter and it's just, you know, every big play, there was a penalty and it's a tough way to play. Yeah. And look, I understand if you're a fan,

you're saying that went against us, a lot of those calls, you're right. Like, I'm not going to argue

that. Some of those calls I thought were bad and they hurt the Eagles, but the Eagles also put themselves

in a position to be hurt by the referees and lose the game, not because of it, but part of the reason. But like,
