TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:

ISAIAH 42:1-4 - Behold my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen, in whom my soul delights I have put my Spirit upon him; he will bring forth justice to the nations He will not cry aloud or lift up his voice, or make it heard in the street; a bruised reed he will not break, and a faintly burning wick he will not quench; he will faithfully bring forth justice He will not grow faint or be discouraged till he has established justice in the earth; and the coastlands wait for his law.

MATTHEW 12:15-21 - A large crowd followed him, and he healed all who were ill. He warned them not to tell others about him. This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: ‘Here is my servant whom I have chosen, the one I love, in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will proclaim justice to the nations. He will not quarrel or cry out; no one will hear his voice in the streets. A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out, till he has brought justice through to victory. In his name the nations will put their hope.’”

if you were making up the story, how would you go about saving the world? I mean, if you had the

0:14.7

power, if you had the wisdom, if you could set everything right, how would you do it? Well, today today in our foretold series, we're going to get

0:23.1

our minds aligned with the truth of God's word by looking at how God prophesied that he would do it

0:29.4

and then how he did it exactly that way. And it's not the kind of thing that most of us would choose.

0:36.3

Welcome back, friends. I am glad you're with me. Today, we are

was predicted to be. We'll be looking at the book of Isaiah and at the book of Matthew, so get out

0:52.4

your Bibles, and we're going to dig into that in just

teacher. God, this is your word and we want to hear what you have to say

1:29.8

to us through it. So please guide us, give us your insight in Jesus' name. Amen. All right, friends,
