What does it look like inside progressive minds as they look at the world?

Because I honestly, there's such a divide, I think, between, I'll speak for myself,

my mind and the minds of some of the people we're going to hear talking

i'm not even sure exactly how to begin building a bridge

that's huge the way they think good question we were just talking about our local area, so we broadcast from the capital of California,

the biggest state in the country, fifth the biggest economy in the world, and I wonder when those

lawmakers drive to the capital

I drove around the capital with my son on Sunday and he said I've never

been to this close to the capital I said you haven't because Sam has been in the

capital but I didn't realize that Henry has never been anyway so right there at the capital but I didn't realize Henry has never been anyway

so we're right there at the capital the big giant looks like the capital in DC

capital building but I mean there are homeless tents and towns all over the

place and when the lawmakers drive there like you just ask what is in their mind

oh my god how horrible the inequality is or what would look what the high rents have done

yeah and then they never stop and say hey are you on drugs and have 85 to 90% of them say yeah absolutely

Yeah. Yeah, it's it's amazing to me. That's you know, that's one good example, but listen to this story from Washington, D.C.
