uh one of the closest races that nobody really saw coming in terms of polling is in the state of New York now i've made this promise to you

after what we saw with Glenn Youngkin winning by such a large margin in Virginia last year

and while we paid a little bit of attention to the gubernatorial race in New Jersey we didn't give it anywhere near the attention that it ended up

deserving because had we done so i believe that the republican would have won and murphy would have been thrown out of office

and it's just people weren't paying attention to it the polls didn't pick up on it and it was somewhat frustrating

that's not the case in New York as republican Lee Zeldin is now appointing a half away from the current governor

Kathy Hokeh all according to Trafalgar uh this race has tightened up dramatically in large part

because of all the incidents of of crime that we've that you know we've been highlighting on a regular basis on this program

for example those an incident that took place in New York that i don't think most people even know about

um and and this was a horrible horrible you know situation where you know it goes to the heart of no bell

loss there's no bell no defund dismantle mentality is killing people now up near buffalo in New York

he had a woman shot and killed uh last week they identified the woman the last name is Hudson

she was killed while sitting inside of her vehicle 830 in the morning uh where she lives she was

pronounced dead at the scene she was killed in front of her children sitting in the back seat of her

vehicle and it happened Wednesday evening buffalo police put out a wanted notice for a 45-year-old by

the name of Adam Benningfield the homicide unit is looking to question him as a person of interest in

the homicide and anyway police identified this person as possibly armed and dangerous

on September 28th it turns out Hudson and Benefield were married but separated they were inside

of their home when uh Benningfield allegedly had punched and kicked Hudson according to court

documents so he was arrested he stands accused of taking her cell phone to stop him from

call for stop her from calling the police anyway a rained one count third degree assault two counts
