Hey, welcome to break away. Hey, welcome to breakaway. My name is Timothy Ateke. I'm the executive director of Breakaway, and it is so good to be back. I don't care for virtual. I'm just glad that we are back in gathering together. I do want to give a huge shout out to the Fintaggyz AguK class of 2024. Welcome to

Aggie Land. We are so glad that you are here. Now, I want to start off just by saying this. I want to

kind of set an expectation. You need to know that we at Breakaway are not sitting here saying we just

want to get through the fall. We're not here saying we just want to get through the fall

we're not sitting there saying we want to get to the fall and just get to the spring where

hopefully things will be back to the normal and we can just do what we know to do if we take

that mentality we will miss out on all god has in store for this fall so here's what

i believe i believe that god is going to change people's lives this fall like people will be

eternally impacted by what god does in their lives this fall. So the question that you need to answer is,

hey, will you position yourself in a way and will you believe that God wants to do a significant

work in your life, even in the midst of the craziest season of life that any of us have ever

experienced? Will you lean in with us and believe that God's

going to do something great? I am so excited about what I get to do over the next four weeks at

Breakaway. I get to teach my favorite passage in the Bible. About 20 years ago, I was sitting in Reed Arena at Breakaway,

and the founding director of Breakway, Greg Mott did a five-week series on John chapter 15,

verses 1 through 11. And when he taught it, I was captivated by it. And I have read my Bible most days over the last 20 years.

And there's no other passage in the scriptures that has been able to dislodge my love for this passage.
