Odd last three, four hours of speculation, rampant speculation surrounding a free agent that we hit the airwaves

with trying to process. Not since Kauai Leonard was being followed by a

helicopter through the streets of Canada have we had and since Tim Cates called Mexico

South America have we had such international confusion here in in North America

Matt it is a confounding day now. I want to come out on the record and say,

we were not caught off guard by Canada. David Vasset told us the day that the doctors called the Presser, yeah, they called

a Presser two weeks ago and they didn't really say anything but it was seen as

kind of like a good faith sort of gesture toward the LA media that they called a

presser and Friedman spoke and Vasset showed up and we put them on the air and

there was nothing happening but that was the day that Canada became
