Well, hello there. My name is Morgan Harper-Nichols. I'm an artist and a writer, and this is a space where I share words that I hope can make a little room for you to slow down and take a few deep breaths as you prepare for whatever lies ahead. Thanks for being here today. And now on to today's episode. Today's episode is for the one who feels pressured to

figure it all out right now. You might be feeling a little pressure to answer questions about what's next, but I hope you know that no one, not even the person that's asking you what's next, has it all figured out yet.

The important thing to remember here is that you have the awareness that you are growing and being strengthened in this season,

no matter what lies ahead. You might not know exactly how it's all going to turn out,

but you must trust that you are being prepared for it deep within. So don't be discouraged.

If you don't feel like you look strong on the

outside. Don't be disheartened by those who seem to wear a kind of confidence and certainty

that you think you will never have. It's true, you will never look like them, but they will

never look like you. And whatever positive thing

you see in them, you can see it in yourself too, even if it takes time. I don't know if you're the

one in your family who gets overlooked or if you're the friend that is expected to always have it

together. I don't know if this year will turn out to be one of the best

or one of the most difficult or somewhere in between. But I do know this. You are going to get

where you need to be when you need to get there. You are going to be guided by endless light,

even in the middle of nowhere. Even amongst a thousand endless

questions of where you're going to work or go to school or when you're going to get into a

relationship or have kids, you are free to answer with the truth. You are free to say, I don't know. You're free to say, I'm taking my time here.

You're free to say, we'll see. Oftentimes, other people mean well, and many times, they are only

looking just to have a conversation when they're asking you about your

future. But don't ever let that make you feel like you have to pretend to have something figured

out that you don't. If anyone truly wants to know how you're doing and what you've been up to,

talk to them about how you've grown in to. Talk to them about how you've grown in joy.
