I have a son who died of a drug overdose about a year and a half ago. It was a heroin overdose.

Well, heroin. Wow.

I called. We did send him to rehab, but he learned how to do a lot more drugs when he was in rehab.

So I call it drug university, but that was just my experience.

But anyway, I belong to I traveled back and forth from my state to another and I joined a group.

An organization and that other state about the time just a little bit before he died and everyone at home and in my town,

I mean, we're very open and frank that he had a drug problem and that he died of a drug overdose.

But I really didn't say anything to these other women because they weren't really close friends.

I just said my son passed away and left it at that.

I just found out that one of the people that I considered my friend in this group has told everybody that my son committed suicide.

And I'm I'm furious. I'm just.

Why are you, but why are you furious?

Because I feel like it's such a different thing.

I mean, it's still or maybe how is it a different thing?

I tell you, Connie, if you had called me right after that happened, I would have called it a slow suicide.

That's what we call it in the therapeutic, you know, like obesity is slow suicide.

Drug use to that level. I mean, heroin, that's slow suicide.
