0:10.0 | We appreciate you and pray for God's very best in your life. |
0:14.0 | We'll God bless you. It's a joy to come into your homes and if you're ever in our area, please stop by and be a part of one of our services. I promise you, we'll make you feel right at home. |
0:37.0 | I like to start with something funny and I heard about these four Catholic ladies. They were bragging on their sons. The first one said, my son is a priest. When he walks in the room, everyone calls him father. |
0:50.0 | The second one said, my son is a bishop. When he walks in the room, everyone calls him your grace. |
0:57.0 | The third one said, my son is a cardinal. When he walks in, everyone calls him your eminence. The fourth lady said, my son is six foot three, has broad shoulders, is incredibly handsome and dresses impeccably well. |
1:12.0 | When he walks in the room, all the ladies say, oh my God. Say it like you mean it. This is my Bible. I am what it says I am. I have what it says I have. |
1:25.0 | I can do what it says I can do. Today I will be taught the Word of God. I boldly confess. My mind is alert. My heart is receptive. I will never be the same in Jesus' name. God bless you. |
1:40.0 | I want to talk to you today about a fresh new attitude. Studies show that your attitude can have a greater impact on your success than your IQ. You can be extremely talented, have incredible potential. |
1:57.0 | But if you don't have the right attitude, it will keep you from rising higher. And we spend all kinds of time and money making sure the outside looks good. Eating right, working out, wearing the latest fashions. |
2:12.0 | And that's all fine. But too often, we're not spending any time on the inside. Nice clothes won't cover up a bad attitude. |
2:22.0 | A pretty face, perfect makeup, won't hide being bitter on the inside. In high school, this new girl moved into town and she was very beautiful, very attractive. |
2:34.0 | I was shy, never had the nerve to talk to her. But our senior year, we had a class together. The seating was assigned. It just so happened, I was sitting right next to her. |
2:46.0 | I thought I had died and gone to heaven. In the first time I sat by her, I turned, just being friendly and said hello. Nothing more. She looked at me like I had just insulted her. |
3:00.0 | Like she was totally offended. She looked away and never said a word to me the whole semester. She was beautiful on the outside, but can I tell you, she was ugly on the inside. |
3:13.0 | I never saw her the same way. A bad attitude makes you unattractive. It overrides what's on the outside. It's important to look good, to develop your skills, to get an education, but it's even more important to keep a good attitude. |
3:32.0 | Nobody wants to be around a sour, critical, condescending person. Colossians 3 in the message translation says, dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you. Kindness, compassion and humility. |
3:48.0 | As parents, sometimes we pick out clothes for our children to wear. Our heavenly Father has picked out something for us all to wear. Kindness, being good to people, being pleasant to be around. |
4:04.0 | When you're kind, you draw people to you. When you're good-natured, friendly opportunity will come your way. People want to do business with people that they like. |
4:15.0 | When we're hiring someone, their resume tells us what they can do, what their skills are, but we always meet with them to see what their attitude is. |
4:26.0 | Are they positive? Are they friendly? Kind? Consider it. We can find someone else with the same skills. The real question is, do they have the attitude that's going to take us higher? |
