Hey, this is Beth.

Listen, what we live for at Living Proof is to serve people, the Word of God.

We base our ministry on Hebrews 412 that tells us that the Word is alive and active.

We pray this message is going to serve you in some way today and that God is going to

speak through it. Thank you so much for giving us this privilege. And it came to pass in those days

that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed. And then in the

sixth verse, and so it was that while they were there, the days were accomplished

that she should be delivered.

And she brought forth her firstborn son.

And she wrapped him in swaddling clothes and she laid him in a major because, why?

Oh, we know this story well. Because there was no room for him in the end. So knowing

that we've got that coming, knowing that appropriately that will be the story we will hear

over and over and over again in the days to come if we will allow ourselves to hear it.

Here's what began to occur to me as I prepared and went before God to know what it would be

that we would study here together tonight.

And I felt like he was saying, prepare for an advent in your life.

Do what was done, figuratively and spiritually speaking in Luke chapter one to prepare for a Luke chapter two in your life. I wonder if just anybody in the

room could use a fresh advent of Christ.

Anybody just could say tonight, I am not sure life is working for me, so aware of how many people are in turmoil that honestly think God must have something against them.

He must not like them.

God must like you, but he hates me. I hear that kind of

attitude over and over again. I was in an airport. I'm forever in an airport, in an airport
