Thank you so much, Asia, for making this episode possible. Hello and welcome to Bible Stories. I am your host, Matt. Todd is out today. He and his wife and two children are anticipating a third child. So they're moving into a home

to accommodate them. And we're all excited for Todd and praying for him during this move. He's

going to be back at the end of this week because we're catching up. We're going to produce

another episode toward the end of the week. This has been a unique week for Kareen and I.

We live out in the Dallas, Texas area, and we had just a tremendous winter storm come through,

something that caused a lot of damage for a lot of folks. Millions of Texans were out of power.

Some of them were experiencing rolling blackouts.

Some of them, the length of that blackout was over 24 hours. Some of them even longer than that.

And during those blackouts, the temperature outside ranged from zero degrees to 17 degrees. It was just really cold without any heat in the

house. Many folks lost their water. And for those who had it restored, some of those folks

are under boil warnings to where their water is not potable right now because the infrastructure

had damage caused to it fromable right now because the infrastructure had

damage caused to it from the city or the city had damage caused their infrastructure

and they just can't drink their water. So I'll be praying for Texas.

Corrine and I, we were very fortunate to come out just fine and we're super grateful for that

and praying for those folks who are going to now

begin the process of repairing their homes. Some folks lost loved ones through this storm,

so we're praying for them and that God would be very near to them. His presence would be felt.
