On June 18, 2014, a young boy lost his life in a case that has many wondering

if it was murder or one big, terrible accident. So if you like your coffee hot but your bones

chilled, sit back and start your day with a morning cup of murder. On June 18th, 2014, in Vining's Georgia, a man named Justin Ross Harris, who goes by Ross,

packed up his 22-month-old son Cooper and secured him in his car seat with plans to drop him off

at daycare on his way to work. Before they parted ways, Ross took the toddler to get some breakfast less than a mile

away from his office, arriving at about 8.47 a.m. Ross parked his Hyundai, Tucson at the Home Depot

office where he worked and walked in at 9.25 a.m. to begin his job. At lunchtime, around 12.30 p.m., he was picked up from work by two of his

friends to get some lunch at a nearby publics, and the trio stopped at a hardware store on the

way to pick up some light bulbs. They then brought Ross back to his office. He opened up his car

and dropped the purchase inside.

Somehow he didn't notice anything was amiss until 4.16 p.m. when approximately seven hours after he arrived at work that morning,

he returned to his car to head off to the local AMC movie theater to see a movie with his friends.

After driving for a bit, he suddenly pulled over to an outdoor shopping mall and, in front of a gathering crowd, pulled his son's lifeless body from his car

seat and began performing CPR. Ross, you see, never dropped Cooper off at daycare, meaning the young boy had been in the summer heat, about 92 degrees that day, tethered to his car seat, all alone for seven hours.

Ross, who peaked in his car to drop off those bulbs and claimed he did not notice his son in his rear-facing car seat,
