All right, well we are continuing in our series as my dad just said in the Psalms of

David. We are wrapping up this week,

and as it is Father's Day, I love getting to be a dad.

It's one of the great pleasures in my life.

It's one of the great struggles in my life as well.

I'd be honest as we get into these pre-teen and teenage years.

I've got a 19 year old daughter, so she's almost out of it.

And then we've got a 13 year old daughter and then a 12 year old son, almost 12.

And it's a fun season, but it's a difficult season.

And every season is different, right?

When your kids are little, it's like, oh, I can't wait

to get out of these diapers and into this next thing. And then it's like oh I can't wait to get out of these these diapers and into this

next thing and then it's like oh my goodness the diapers were nothing in

comparison to this attitude. I heard someone ask the question what's the difference between Mother's Day and

Father's Day. I like how one little boy described it. He said Father's Day is

just like Mother's Day only you don't spend as much on the gift.

Come on, is that true?
