Hey, what's up Dad Edge Nation. Hope you guys are having a great, great week. Hey, listen, normally you don't hear my voice before the intro music, but this particular show deserves a little bit of prep and a bit of an update as well. So this is the week of October 7th 2018. This is a special show. What you're about to hear is something I've never done before.

You're going to hear about it in the intro.

I had an opportunity to interview today's guests just two weeks ago, and I think you can tell by the title of this particular

show it's a father's last words okay so I want to brace you for an emotional roller coaster ride that you're about to hear.

You're about ready to hear my interview with a local man here in St. Louis, Missouri, but his story

hit national news and went viral, and as fate would have it Brian Fronyberger and

myself had a mutual friend who introduced us and I was able to talk to him and I was able to spend an hour and 15 minutes and what we call a father's last words.

And excuse me if I sound a bit choked up for this, but it's a bit hard to talk about.

The reason I want to do this show was because Brian is only 46 years old and he was battling head and neck cancer. The reason I'm

inserting this pre-roll is because I had a last-minute update before this show

release because I recorded everything that you're

about to hear about two weeks ago.

As of last Thursday, just this past Thursday, I'm sorry, Wednesday, October 3rd, Wednesday evening, Brian passed away.

So Brian passed away just 10 short days after he and I recorded what you're about to hear.

And I think what you guys are going to hear in this particular show is

something that none of us like to think about.

However, it's something so critical in our lives and that is keeping our lives in perspective,

keeping our stress in perspective, cherishing moments, what type of legacy do you want to leave behind? How do you want to be remembered? It just so happens as as karma would have it. I inserted this show much earlier because I have shows booked out until the first week of November.

I especially inserted this show in this week because I wanted to get it in sooner rather than later because I didn't know how much time Brian had and again as fate

would have it he just passed away this past Wednesday. So as you listen to the

show this is truly today this is a father's last words.
