Greetings and welcome to a Friday edition of the shotgun start. It is March 10th, Andy, how are we doing?

Brendan, I'm doing great. You know, just excited for March madness. I had a splendid day.

I didn't watch much of the players full disclosure. I played a lovely round of golf, got in right before the latest atmospheric river hit my part of the world.

What is that? What does that mean? Well, atmospheric, right?

I didn't know what it was until this winter and I've been hit by about 10 of them.

It's like the best way to describe it is like think of like a heavy rain storm that just like you know how they last like in the Midwest in the east, east coast like for like an hour, you might get heavy rain.

It just does that for like 24 hours. It's wild. It's just like pissing rain.

It gets a little windy. So that beautiful California weather, I feel like every other podcast we do you come on here bitching about something or other about the might flood the Windsor 70 miles an hour.

It's too cold. It's too hot. It feels like ever so always something out there in California.

Can I can I ask you a question about basketball? Yeah.

How about you know what this happened that I'm what the Illinois games on I'm not watching it.

I'm not using basketball. My kids teams. All right. March badness.

And this happened in Illinois player did this and I always like it's a pet peeve of mine.

You know, they get these tie ups called all the time, right? The guys balls on the ground, guys on the ground and guys just jump on top of that.

It's like that's a foul before they tie it up. You can't just jump on to somebody's body.

You know, yeah, that's that's the new practice though. They dare they're dare them to call foul.

It should always be a foul almost always. I'm saying this as an Illinois player just got the advantage from doing that.
