Summary

The music world was stunned last Friday when news broke of Rush drummer Neil Peart’s death from brain cancer. So celebrate the life, legacy and music of one of the greatest, most-influential drummers in rock and roll history with Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante and Winery Dogs (and former Dream Theater) drummer Mike Portnoy, who share their personal stories and recollections on Neil, Rush’s albums and stage shows. Mike was actually friends with Neil and speaks to their relationship, and Charlie remembers the first time he met Neil and why that didn’t go exactly as planned. They also share favorite songs, favorite drum solos, favorite live performances, and favorite Neil memories.

Neil actually passed on January 7th put in a testament to their private life.
