Summary

The music world was stunned last Friday when news broke of Rush drummer Neil Peart’s death from brain cancer. So celebrate the life, legacy and music of one of the greatest, most-influential drummers in rock and roll history with Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante and Winery Dogs (and former Dream Theater) drummer Mike Portnoy, who share their personal stories and recollections on Neil, Rush’s albums and stage shows. Mike was actually friends with Neil and speaks to their relationship, and Charlie remembers the first time he met Neil and why that didn’t go exactly as planned. They also share favorite songs, favorite drum solos, favorite live performances, and favorite Neil memories.

0:36.0	About that very few knew he was fighting with such a shock and surprised to everybody except for Neil's inner circle.
0:43.0	Neil actually passed on January 7th put in a testament to their private life.
0:47.0	He always led and ultimately lead news of his death didn't reach the world at large until Friday the 10th.
0:54.0	So we're celebrating the life and legacy and music of one of the most greatest, most influential, most prolific drummers and lyricists in not just rock history but music history.
1:04.0	And I've got the two perfect people to do it. The Fab 3 returns drummer Mike Portnoy who was in Neil's inner circle.
