This is a story of Diane and Rachel Staudi and what would be dubbed the antifreeze murders. On the outside,

outside, Diane Staudy looked like the perfect wife and mom.

In fact, she was like a supermom, with a lot on her plate regarding responsibilities to home and family.

Diane and her husband Mark were high school sweethearts before they married, bought a home in Springfield,

Missouri and raised a family of four children. In 2012 the couple

have been married for 26 years and had three adult children, Sean 26, Sarah 24, and

Rachel 22, and their fourth child Brianna was just 11 years old.

Diane was employed full-time as a nurse to provide for her family of six.

She worked remotely seeing patients for United

Health Care, a position she'd held for 12 years. Her husband was the lead singer and

guitarist for a local blues band. He sometimes worked a bartending shift at the clubs where they

played, but Diane was the breadwinner in the family. With Diane traveling for

her job, Mark was the primary caregiver of their 11-year-old Brianna, who had learning disabilities.
