Okay, the Weekside Podcast is back for our regular end of the week's show and I think we should start off by clearing up a little bit of misconception that I've seen at least when we tweet out the show and you know we really appreciate all the feedback that we're getting from our

listeners and so I you know I just kind of wanted to clear up any misunderstanding with some of the point of views that Jenny and I had specifically about the draft and the reasons that we didn't think that it should go forward.

I think that we were both in agreement that there should not have been an NFL draft last weekend

and the fact that the draft went well doesn't change that.

You know what I mean?

It doesn't change the fact that I still feel like it was ridiculous to have as Jenny tweeted the same agent in two different families houses on TV without a face mask to have some houses with 30 people

that are clearly crammed just off camera that you can see there that aren't

following social distancing guidelines you know all stuff, while it was a break,

and I enjoyed it, trust me, I liked sitting there

and Jenny and I have a lot of good draft inside jokes

that we've developed over the 10 years that we've been doing this

together. It felt so good to just make some of those stupid jokes again and not think

about what was going on in the world. That said, you know, this self-congratulations tour that the

NFL is going on and in turn I think some people have directed that toward people

like me who didn't feel like the draft should go on and say,

well, what do you think now?

I still feel like it shouldn't have happened.

You know, I still feel like we should have waited

until NFL teams could get fair medical evaluations on players.

I still think we should have waited for better testing

so that we didn't have these situations where potentially

contaminated people are going from house to house and putting their
