What's up, everyone? Today's guest is a man named Kos Marte. You might have seen him on Vice News.

He is an ex-Dominican drug dealer from the Lower East Side of Manhattan. This was a crazy interview.

He grew up selling heroin and marijuana on the corners of the Lower East Side.

When I was operating, basically everybody had a block. And so you wanted to buy drugs,

you go into the corner of bodega. We're sitting in the front of the bodega. You're copping and going.

Then in the early 2000s, when New York City really started to gentrify, he took advantage

and started a cocaine delivery service where he would sell over a kilo a week

just in tiny little grams.

Everybody in the neighborhood that had different corners were scared of white people because

white people were cops.

My boys thought I was crazy and I was like, nah, yeah, I'm a crazy.

I just saw this dude do a bump, you know, down the block.

Like, I'm going to sell to it.

He made $5 million a year doing this.

He had different people driving for him, stash houses all over the city where he would bag up product.

He had 20 different phones ringing all day, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

It was like 20 something drivers, two different shifts.

Then I was supplying cars for every driver, too.

I had a Dominican dude at one of the rental companies.

We were getting rental cars for like 15 bucks a day.

He sold Coke to movie stars like Lindsay Lohan and Robert De Niro. Robert De Niro was there

and he gave me the nod and the guy was like, yo, let me get. Paris Hilton was straight hand-to-hand.
