turns himself momentarily into a cannonball. You can only imagine between the title A Dip in the Pond

A Dip in the Pond This is a story about a cat.

The cat's name was Benjamin Thompson,

an unusual name for a cat, but Ben was an unusual cat.

This is also a story about a junkyard, a most unusual place that was home to a host of unusual animals.

Our story begins in Big Tin, a section of the junkyard where all the metal things were kept,

pipes, old refrigerators, sheet metal, and duct work.

This was also where Ben's friends Spiro the Skunk and Zippy the Porcupine lived.

Ben and Spiro regularly met once a week to sift through the new junk looking for unopened cans of
