That's what California spent fighting homelessness over the past four years.

At the same time, the homeless population of the state grew by around a third.

With 17.5 billion in theory, the state could have just paid the rent for every unhoused person in all four years.

That's a hell of a stat.

CNN, it's become so obvious, so blatant, so unignorable, even CNN is saying,

what's going on?

So you spent a 17.5 billion dollars and got a third more homeless people, what I would love to know in a parallel universe where you spent no money, what would you've ended up with?

I doubt? I mean, I don't know this, but I doubt you would have ended up with a third more homeless people.

I have a feeling you'd ended up with less homeless people.

I guarantee you this.

And stand ready to be argued off this position.

You would have 80% fewer junkies who just don't want to work and want to live the in a 10 outdoor high all day lifestyle, which would make it so much easier to address the actual mentally ill those unable to work.

The unfortunate few had big medical bills that we always hear about from the advocates.

If we were not making it so generous and comfortable to be a junkie, the problem would be so much easier to deal with, so much easier to get our hands around.

I'd love to know of that 17.5 billion dollars, what percentage of dollars did anything good for a human being?
