Summary

For years, he haunted her dreams—a handsome, mysterious man named Chris, always arriving in times of emotional upheaval like some twisted Hallmark villain. But when dream-Chris crossed the line (let's just say harming pets is a hard no), she finally kicked him to the curb… and then things started really getting weird. Picture frames shifted, treasured objects moved on their own, and the paranormal seemed to pack its bags and move into her dining room. But in the middle of all this, a tender moment—during a “dummy dinner” honoring lost loved ones—reminded her that not all visitors from the other side are jerks named Chris.
