She's the current president and director of the NACP Legal Defense Fund,

the nation's premier civil rights law organization fighting for racial justice.

gathering with her family around the television to watch presidential conventions and civil rights documentaries.

So the Biden-Harris administration's been pushing for voting rights legislation. Some people who are aligned with that goal have embraced how the administration is approaching this, but others

have criticized their tactics. And so how do you and the LDF interact with the Biden-Harris administration over

voting rights? I know that Vice President Harris is well aware of the importance of voting rights.

She was obviously a senator before she was vice president. I had many opportunities to talk and

work with her around these issues. And I believe that President Biden is as well. So I don't have any doubts
