Earlier this month we spoke with international observers about the US presidential election

and they all agreed that the next president of the United States will have a profound impact on

their countries in fact on every country around the world. One European

analyst said that the US election matters so much for Europe that he jokingly told us

that he wished he had a vote here. Well, Kamala Harris and Donald Trump clearly

have very different views of the US's role in the world.

Trump maintains his so-called America First Worldview, isolationist, protectionist against Forever Wars, hostile to some allies, welcoming to some adversaries.

Harris is more in the mainstream foreign policy mold, but also still somewhat enigmatic. She says she believes in the importance of

US global leadership and the importance of a functioning US democracy as an

example to the world, as does current President Joe Biden, but beyond that and on critical issues,

Harris's approach is less clear.

Exactly how would she handle the conflict between Israel, Gaza, and now Lebanon.

What would her approach to Iran be?
