Welcome to life, death, and the space between.

I'm your host, Dr. Amy Robbins.

Every other week, I will be talking to all different people about topics related to life,

death, consciousness, past lives, near-death experiences, mediumship, and the list goes on and on.

Some of these guests will be thought leaders in the field, but some might be average people,

like you or me, who have had a life-changing spiritual or mystical experience that altered how they see the world.

My goal? To help you feel less fearful

and more curious about what happens when we die and to live a more present life while you are here,

at least this time around. So here's a bit about me. I'm a clinical psychologist and I've been in

private practice for almost 15 years.

What I've found in years of working with hundreds of patients is that we are all on this search

to make meaning out of life and almost everyone is fearful of death and dying. Oh, and some other stuff

about me. I'm a wife and a mom of three incredible children. And every

once in a while, a dead person likes to pop into my life and say hello to remind me that life is

multidimensional and that everything is what we see. I've been straddling these two worlds for

almost 15 years now, but it has been a slow journey.

I've tried to deny the part of myself that has experiences speaking with dead people, because

I am a skeptic, as I encourage you all to be.

The purpose of this podcast is to open your mind to exploring consciousness, what might happen to us

when we die, and how to find and make meaning out of life while we are living.

I find that in exploring these possibilities and opening up your consciousness, it helps to live

more presently and feel less scared about the prospect of dying, which has an amazing result
