Fridays are often a volatile day around Israel and in the Middle East.

In Muslim communities, Friday prayers are often seen as a rallying point for demonstrations.

Sometimes during particularly violent back and forth, you might hear leaders discuss a day of rage when huge crowds express their anger.

Of course, for Jews in Israel, it's been a week of rage.

Now we understand as a country that if we want to exist, there is no place for Hamas.

Death toll from last weekend's attack by Hamas has now risen to more than 1200 Israelis.

For dozens more families, the reality is now setting in that their loved ones have been kidnapped.

Likely held in Gaza, either as bargaining chips or even as human shields.

I mean, I know she was shot. I know she was bleeding.

We know that her cell phone is in Gaza and we don't have any more information besides that.

Meanwhile, missiles are flying both ways across the Gaza wall.

The difference is that Israel's got a missile defense system.
