Before I begin, I know it's, look, I know it's been kind of hard to get into the

Christmas season.

I have to admit, and I hate to admit this.

We just got around to putting up the tree today, which is to say yesterday,

Sunday and Jesus, if I was a kid and my parents waited until December 13 to put the

tree up, I would have went on a hunger strike.

Or you can yell and scream all you want.

But if you want to get your mother's attention as an Italian kid, it's to not eat her food.

Trust me, it's better than yelling.

May back when I was a kid, the second Thanksgiving was over, I would start

harranging my mother if I could take down the fake tree from the shelf in the garage.
