Love and Light School. Several students were wondering about the phrase as above so below. You've

probably heard this phrase before if you've been part of the spiritual community for a while,

but my students were curious about

the origin of this phrase and what it really means. Well, the phrase as above, so below,

is associated with sacred geometry, like we can see in the Merkaba shape, with hermeticism,

the tarot, and alchemy. It actually originates from a passage in the Emerald Tablet,

which is one of the great alchemical texts.

But basically, it's a way of summarizing that the macrocosm and the microcosm

are one and the same.
