As we have said, today is Palm Sunday.

It's the beginning of Holy Week.

It's a beautiful day.

We're celebrating the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem.

We're looking ahead to Easter Sunday.

But today is also week four of our collection

entitled Crux. For the last four weeks, we've just been taking time together to talk about the

cross of Christ. As we learned, crux is a Latin word that means cross, but it also means crucial.

And what we've seen is the significance of the

cross. At Voo, we've just set aside a month together to consider the significance of the cross and why

it's crucial in our lives as Christians. And you know, it's hard to overstate the value and the

importance of the cross of Jesus.

May I remind you that our faith as believers is not just built on a series of doctrines.

We Christians, we have our doctrines, but our doctrines are built on some historical events.

Things that actually happened.

Most importantly, the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus.
