Well, hi, everybody. Welcome to Hot Mike. I'm your co-host, Bill Whittle. The latest on Hot Mike is that he's managed to finally come down from his epic ayahuasca trip, which he went on as soon as he found out that Donald Trump had been elected president just a couple weeks ago.

We've got him in a detox center. We wanted to send him to Hawaii, but he didn't want to go because he's afraid of the snakes.

We tried to tell him there are no snakes in Hawaii, but he didn't listen to us. So we asked if he'd prefer to go to the sandwich islands. So he said he thought that was a good idea. So he's currently

recuperating on the island of Hogi, Maui. We expect him back on Monday. He seems to be doing a lot better. I was going to do a one-off

episode called a counter-revolution of competence to talk about Donald Trump's new appointees,

because after the initial euphoria of the election win wore off, we just kept getting more and more

dopamine hits as the list of appointees to come in and drain the

swamp got longer and longer and every single one of them seemed to get better and better and

better. I was going to go over these appointees and it ended up just being in my mind just kind of a

woo-hoo look these are great people. But then I thought you know what makes them great what makes

them great replacements? Who are they replacing? What are

the qualifications that they have? And what are the qualifications of the people they're replacing?

And why will this be a good thing for the country? So instead of one episode, I've decided to break it

down into a bunch of different episodes. So looking at the roster of how things stand as we record

this, we will be doing an episode on Thomas Holman versus Kamala Harris for Bordersar.
