Summary

It may be a cool desert morning, but there is hankie clad reporter and a top notch private investigation team outside Las Vegas that is blazing hot on the trail of man trying to get away with murder! Josh Mankiewicz is back with a sin city case about an attorney, mom and wife who mysteriously passes away early one morning. Straightforward husband poisons wife for insurance money or child custody it would seem, right? Well this is Dateline season 31, folks, and a long twisted road to justice is to be expected. Kimberly and Katie flex their surprisingly weak P.I. muscles and try to get to the bottom of exactly how this crime went down, what's involved in the intricacies of owning and operating a fast food franchise as a side business and what exactly constitutes a corridor in a Vegas hotel. So fill up your Sonic blue coconut slush with Nerds add-in and enjoy this very, very special coverage from A DATE WITH DATELINE: Things that do Bumps in the Night. Trigger Warning: Please be aware this case involves the topic of suicide throughout. Official Description from NBCU: A family begins a relentless pursuit of justice after the death of Nevada attorney Susan Winters is ruled a suicide. Josh Mankiewicz reports.
