Alright, today's episode is going to be a little bit different.

It was about a year ago today that I got released from the Jacksonville Jaguars and we launched

this podcast with the intention of exploring how different people have made it through

life's unexpected events.

I have lost my job, been released from nine different NFL teams and it has been easy

for me and I've grown and matured through the process.

And in this episode, I wanted to bring you guys an interview where I sit down with the

guy that I was competing with in the Redskins training camp.

And so if you guys don't know my story, I was picked up by the Washington Redskins to play

the last three games of the 2018 season.

It had been my goal and I had worked for it for four years and finally this dream came

true.

So I've been with the Redskins ever since.

And it was because Nick Sunberg, who had been the 10-year vet, was injured.

So now he's back and healthy and him and I are competing for this one roster spot.

And I wanted to bring this interview to you guys so that you could understand the dynamics

of what it's like to spend eight hours a day with the person that might take your job

or you might take their job.

And I think that this interview accomplished that.

So kind of catch those dynamics and see the ins and outs of what it's like to be competing

for an NFL roster spot and what it takes to make that happen.
