When I sat in Lori's trial last year, I sat the whole trial with Chad I was only there literally the last week when the defense rested but to hear it laid out through testimony it blows my mind every time it's just even though I know the

story like the back of my hand when you hear in its totality it's it almost

sounds like something written for Hollywood not like a real investigation

It's just so out there. Yeah, and that's and that's part of why we were so confused,

like, do people really believe this?

It was like a bad dream of,

and a bad game of Dungeons and Dragons, right?

We were just so blown away and every time something came in and we heard something different,

I remember sitting around this roundtable and all the investigators looking at each

other like kind of chuckling because it can't get any more weird but it continued to get more weird.

For me, I always said it was a combination of Dungeons and Dragons, a little Harry Potter mixed in there,

doing the spells and trying to blind people with white.

It's just so bizarre, but, you know, Heather Daybell

has said that Chad was talking about the stuff in the 90s.

I mean, and then he found his group in 2018 that bought it and then just this huge

explosion of death and destruction and what was what was so telling was they meet in October in January
