long time friend of mine and somebody that I admire greatly in ministry and scholarship and in all sorts of ways and that is

Ligan Duncan who is the president the chancellor of the reformed theological

seminary which is one of the most amazingly successful

theological seminary's in American life, and they maintain multiple campuses, put out tons of graduates every year serving in key

ministry in multiple denominations. And so I wanted to take some time to talk to Ligan about issues of doctrinal conviction and

doctrinal confession because that have different vulnerabilities.

There are some Christians that don't want to talk about doctrine at all. It seems boring to them,

it seems irrelevant to them. And then there are other Christians who want to focus on doctrine

in terms of all of the controversies that are going on in a particular

moment, but who often don't evidence the experiential knowledge of God in Christ that manifests itself through the way that we serve together with the church.
