This week's guest is Hutto defensive coordinator, Adam Harvey. Coach Harvey previously coached at Sybilow Steel High School, where he coached many superstars like Jalen Jones

and Caden Stearns. We talk about his journey into coaching, his time coaching, Stearns and Jones,

one of the best young assistant coaches in the state of Texas, a good friend of mine and a guy with

a lot of great insight into the game. It is new Hutto, Hippo defensive coordinator, Adam Harvey.

Coach, I almost said steel there. I'm just so used to you being in the black and silver,

but congratulations on the move. And thanks for coming on with me today.

Absolutely, Mike. You know, a lot of respect for what you do, man. And from the moment we met,

you've been a top-notch guy. And so I really appreciate you having me on. And yeah,

it is a little different, you know, joining joining the burn of orange up in Bo Nation.

But I'm really stoked about that opportunity.

And, you know, joining a great staff.

Coach LaPlante has built.

And, you know, the kids there are pretty stinking good too.

So I'm leaving one gold mine and entering another.

But I think so most people would understand that I met you during, during Caden Stearns' recruitment.

You were the defensive back coach and Co. D.C., I believe at Steele.

And you coached Caden Sterns.
