Summary

In 1996, elderly widow Marjorie Nugent vanished from her small town in Texas. After months of excuses and wild stories explaining her absence, Marjorie's business manager Bernie Tiede confessed to her murder. The circumstances surrounding both their relationship and Marjorie's death are covered in controversy by those involved as well as the town as a whole. Why did Bernie kill his boss?
