Do you know what a providence is?

It's a word we use, I guess, probably not very often, but it covers a great many things.

It means a making provision, we ought to be able to remember that one, since it comes

from the same root word, providence, making provision, exercising forethought, preparing,

guiding, caring.

A simple illustration would be your own providence with your children.
