0:05.2	comp tables. I mentioned this before. So this is where you can pull up an index or a group of stocks
0:11.3	and you can break them down by characteristic. So I just pulled up the Russell 3000, which is basically
0:15.9	the total US stock market from this year. And I wanted to see what the year-to-date returns were
0:19.8	because I was looking at some stocks that are just gotten hammered this year. Here's what I found.
0:23.6	One out of every six stocks in the US stock market is down 50% or worse this year. So this is not
0:28.5	like all-time highs because a lot of these stocks peaked last year. This is just this year alone.
0:32.8	One out of every four stocks is down 40% or worse. Alternatively, one out of every four stocks is also
0:38.0	positive on the year. 25% of stocks are positive this year, 75% are down. That's actually higher than I
0:43.6	would have thought. What do you think? 25% of stocks up this year? Well, energy, healthcare,
0:48.8	what else is on the list? That was pretty much it. Year-to-day return is negative 16%. I also found,
0:54.4	I think it was something like 10% of stocks were down 60% of worse. It's a really high number.
0:59.9	It's a huge, huge wide range of outcomes this year is what I'm saying. We're getting to the end
1:04.3	where we get to do a little mental reset. I'm preparing myself for year-end pieces and lessons learned.
