If you have a great idea for a business or a product, what's the next step you should take?

I think it's very simple. The next step is to go and do it. Like everybody, like you and all your bandmates, all of you got good ideas.

Everybody here's got a good idea. Just got a good idea. She's got a great idea. Everybody. Everybody's got ideas.

What you do next is you make it happen. Maybe you quit band and you go make it happen. Maybe you go ask money from your uncle Milton, and that's how you make it happen.

I don't know. Maybe you find a partner that can build your app. You go to meetups. You've got to make it happen.

I don't know if that's money, that's time, that's a partner that can actually build out what you need.

The answer always, youngster, is go and make it happen. There's so many great ideas. There's way less great executions because execution's hard.

Once in every four months somebody sends an email saying, I've got a huge startup that I want you to invest in, but you've got to sign this NDA.

Which literally every time gets an email back that says, fuck you. And the reason is, I'm a humongous believer that ideas are shit and that executions the game.

Everybody's got ideas. Do we fucking ideas we all have here? We could probably sit here for the next two hours, draw them all out, record them, and predict the next 78 great startups over the next nine years.

And there is way too much fodder brought to the idea. Uber was magic cab three years earlier. Uber existed. It's called magic cab, but the guys that executed sucked. So they lost.

I've seen a hell of a lot more people execute very below average ideas to build amazing lives. There's unlimited multi-million dollar companies. People made millions of dollars, hundreds of thousands of dollars had tremendous success in business on executing an average idea.

Notice an average idea? A social and digital agency. That's a below average idea. It worked.

My favorite. Uber stole my idea. Fuckin ideas. Like I don't even want to get on ideas. Like everybody. Like it's only execution. Right? Everybody's, let me give you the 30 big ideas. Ready? The smart refrigerator. You want to build a trillion dollar business. You want to own 800 of these homes and 7000 of those cars and four sports teams. Here it is. It's called the smart refrigerator. Everybody's going to have a refrigerator in their kitchen. That refrigerator is going to know when you're down to one bud light because you put in six.

There's going to be one left and it's going to reorder it for you. So it's going to out arbitrage every retailer, Amazon everybody. The refrigerator is going to order it from Budweiser Direct. Budweiser is going to deliver it. There's your idea. Right? There's your idea. But here's the real fucking game. Who's going to execute? Right? Who's going to hire the right people? Who's going to make the product? Who's going to make the JVs with fucking the brand? Who's going to execute? Ideas. Fuck man. Anyway, I'm sorry. All right, let's start.

It's true. It's just true. The problem in this interview is the energy is a little low.

It is time to do less talking and more fucking doing. Most of you will hear this. You'll be like, yeah, you might do it for a day.

I've been in this game for 20 years right now and I promise you it is very simple. 99% of people talk, pontificate, read and think and 1% do. The more you can push yourself to do, all you have to do is go one out of 50 for it all to be worth it.

I'm willing to put in the work. I'm willing to be a practitioner. I'm willing to be practical and I will do it for the rest of my life. I will become a billionaire. I will buy the New York Jets and I will win Super Bowls. Thank you.
