0:13.2	And I had the honor of serving on the Pastor's Search team
0:17.7	at Holland Village First Baptist Church, now called the Village Church.
0:23.5	And it was through much prayer and God's providence and providence alone.
0:30.9	That we offered Matt Chandler the job of a position of pastor,
0:36.9	and he graciously accepted.
0:39.9	And we're thankful, really thankful for that.
0:42.9	I'm thankful for that.
0:44.9	But the best thing we got in the whole deal was Lauren.

0:53.9	Well, Matt preached his first sermon as our pastor on December 8th, 2002.
0:59.9	I can't remember the exact subject matter, but I know it was the gospel.
1:04.9	And he's been faithful to preach the gospel to us for over 20 years.
