Today, we are breaking down the Bears offense in advance of this weekend's

showdown in Chicago.

As most of you know, the Bears have dismissed offensive coordinator Shane Waldron.

And I'll say this.

I said this.

I think it was with John Papadopoulos in central or western Wisconsin and mentioned like Shane Waldron was just in a

tough spot. I don't think his scheme fit very well with what Chicago likes to do, right? I mean,

he's running a ton of vertical stuff with vertical guys like D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.

And the Bears just don't really have that. You know, I mean, even DJ Moore is really more of a yak guy, but, you know,

Colquemette can't get vertical.

Roma Dunzee is a possession guy.

He's supposed to be a high-level possession guy, but that's kind of what he is.

That they're one real vertical guy, Darnel Mooney, he's now getting buckets down in Atlanta,

right? So I didn't think it was a great scheme fit.
