Psalm 23 is perhaps the most famous chapter in all of the Bible.

Signs hang in our homes that say, the Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.

And it's not surprising that this Psalm means so much to so many,

as it is rich with theology, comfort, and hope.

My guest today is David comfort, and hope.

My guest today is David Gibson, and he takes time unpacking this famous Psalm and sharing

what it can teach us about who God is and what He has done for us.

He walks through what the psalmist was likely facing when he wrote this, and the incredible

way that Christ fulfills so much of what this Psalm was pointing forward

towards. In our conversation, Gibson unpacks the images in this Psalm that have become so

familiar to us, maybe over familiar, showing us what it truly means when it says that God walks

through the valley of the shadow of death alongside of us, setting up a table for us in the presence of our enemies.

David Gibson is the minister of Trinity Church in Aberdeen, Scotland.
